Doctors’ negligence: NHRC orders Rs 1 lakh compensation for woman who delivered baby on hospital verandah

BHUBANESWAR: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has directed chief secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi to pay a monetary compensation of Rs one lakh to a woman, who delivered baby on the verandah of Puri district headquarters hospital in 2013 due to negligence of doctors.
